Thats very attacking, I dont think he will get into the CAM role over Courts to be fair, and quality wise he isnt over and above Mane or Firminho. It's a proper tough one. I dont believe you really need him to be fair. But someone is defintley his biggest fan!
Cout has been massively hit and miss last 2 years though. He's consistently inconsistent so good to have options. In a 4231 you'd think it'd be Cout firm mane behind Sturridge. Leaves Lallana / Wij and Origi on bench which are nice options to have. We all know we need another CM although Grujic looks a player so far (although hard to judge on pre season). Unless klopp has a plan to play him in centre midfield? Did he ever play there for you? Would he be capable do you reckon?
I hope you win something with Klopp, but i think you won`t, Sorry! Signing Gini is a waste of dosh, trust us, he was ****e for most of the season, but thank you for the luvverly moolah, yet again.!!
If Courts annoys and fustrates you with his lack of consistency the Wijni will only make it worse. He is not a CM, he doesnt tend to get back, very weak, wont tackle as such. is fast and will occassionally nick the ball off players, but I dont recall him making a single full hearted challenge or a sliding tackle (and I watched all 38 prem games), he doesnt read the game well enough to be a CM. Sissoko would probably fit the CM bill alot more that Wijni, but im not sure Sissoko has the discipline
Liverpool have got a cracking player who will get better with a year's premier league experience under his belt. He will be worth the money if they use him right. But I don't really care about Liverpool and how Gini will fit in to their team. The fact is we have weakened our team significantly and it is extremely unlikely that we will have someone as good brought in to replace him. He would have probably got 15+ goals playing behind our main striker so who is going to score those?
I'll be sad to see him go. I understand his reasons and think he will fit in well at Liverpool. I knew from day 1 he would move on to a better team.
Fans at Doncaster last night singing "Gini Wijnaldum, we want you to stay". Then closely followed by "Moussa Sissoko, we want you to go".
oww! and from a team that we took 4 points from last season although the records state he played every league game last season we only seen him turn up for half of them and the last 4 home games he never bothered his arse
I can't really see him in a Klopp side. He has got good qualities. Good coming onto the ball around the edge of the box and can finish good in the air for his size but he's a bit luxury. He will need to to A LOT more to be in that Liverpool team consistently.
I disagree I think he'll do well at Liverpool he won't be surrounded by failure every match there. Anyway I'm more concerned with us buying numbers of ****e players. Currently don't see us getting promoted
I can see us bouncing back at the first attempt, especially with Rafa signing sofas as well as lamps. We still have to shift some fringe players and crocks out on loan or permanently, and sign a reliable AM. But signings so far are looking good.
Yeah I also think he'll do well there. The guy couldn't work miracles. We didn't have a winning mentality until rafa came. It was mostly too late for him at that point. Hes got quality but hes almost a poacher mixed with a number 10. Always looking for the fast break and those cheap tap in goals.
I disagree mate all that we have is more ****e and soon less quality. The team that was relegated would bounce back, but this lot we simply have no clue whether they will even be good enough.
Why exactly? The only good players we've lost are Townsend and Wijnaldum, and most of the time Wijnaldum wasn't bothered or was anonymous. Are you trying to suggest that if we'd hung on to dogshit like Saylor, Coloccini, Marveaux, Obertan and Cisse we'd be in a better position? We've replaced them with a mix of regular Prem players, a player who was in the champions league last season, and a couple of players who were high performers in the championship last season with proper experience at this level. They're easily good enough.
We have replaced mediocre players with some proven Championship/ PL/ CL quality. Wijnaldum isn't all that. He turned up for maybe 6-7 games last season. The rest of the time he was a passenger. Townsend - a massive loss, but Ritchie is a more than able replacement. Taylor, Coloccini, Cisse, Marveaux and Obertan were quite simply stealing a living. They were absolute dog **** and we have rightly got rid. There is absolutely no way on earth the likes of Gayle, Ritche, Gamez and Hanley are crap. They will get us out of the Championship and steady the ship in the PL.
Townsend And gini are too good for our ****e team basically I'm not going to start saying these players are better players if that's what you're saying.
