Eire Newcastle will sell so called superstars who were shyte last season and bring in solid championship winners. Only winners in Benitez new look bar codes. They will be on good money too and guaranteed promotion and so too will Villa who have new owner, new champions league winning manager. Derby keep hold of their stars because they believe the project will work, and get them promoted. Our stars didn't and were/are upset about Lucy Ward. Burnley under Dyche didnt flinch from the plan and won promotion, right now we need to see Monk has a winning plan but will be really hard as way too much cash sloshing around in the league now except at ER
Blimey, I was going to post Glee's 'don't stop believing'. Spooky or what. #gloryisnottheonlyonetousehashtags
Very good point Eire But is this the same Newcastle that have bought the following this Summer Dwight Gale from Palace for £9M Vernon Anita from Ajax for £7M Jesus Gamez from Athletico for £9M Issac Hayden from Arsenal for £4M Matt Richie from Bournemouth for £5M Matz Sels from AA Gent for £7M That's £41M worth of purchases on just those 6 - how much have Leeds spent on their 7 additions? Makes you wonder why some make them auto certainties
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 50m50 minutes ago Limbombe latest - NEC now accepted a bid of close to £2m from Spanish club Granada. Remains to be seen if Limbombe fancies it. #lufc
Was it £12M? - ****, they've spent over £50M this summer - think Eire chose the wrong team to use as an example EIRE please log in to view this image
By which time it's already too late. The season starts on day one and decent well run clubs should be ready.
So no d cent clubs will make a signing after first game of season. I'll be watching that one. Will Derby win th PL this year btw
They will have the bulk of their business done and won't be scrambling round in the bargain basement and emergency loan market and you know it. Is d cent a black rapper?
Big money signings should give you a chance, but it's no guarantee. Time will tell. But Leicester showed last season that it's the team playing as a team & working together that will guarantee success, not big money signings
How many tens of milions did Leicester spend over the last four seasons? Don't believe the hype that they did it on the sort of peanuts Cellino is paying.
They did spend a few million but what they also had was stability, a well structured backroom staff from top to bottom and a great scouting network, in other words the club was like a well oiled machine off the pitch which just required the finishing touch of a very good manager for on field success So nothing like us then
