And they likely won't. Can't find a prime minister yet who knows how to go about leaving. Seemingly having the same luck with the footie managers. In their determination to employ only brits for the top jobs, they keep getting duds
That was mainly down to mrs glorys spending spree in Dublin. We need to encourage her back every year to sustain the growth
We haven't left yet but we will, I have zero doubt about that.. First few days in the job I think May has come over quite well. I'm a floater voter and as it stands at the moment the Tories would absolutely walk a general election.
You couldn't make it up......oops..... They did, and Olof quoted it! He will be voting Tory next! #manofthepeople
Actually the IMF slashed the previous growth forecast. It's not good news at all However, all the main indicators at the moment are the result of people's opinions, it's too early to see the true facts GDP figures are notorious for being wrong when they first come out then getting revised so it will be a while before a pattern emerges Some early indicators (eg consumer confidence) are looking grim, they often lead to later problems in the GDP figures Too early to tell yet. So those who want to believe the Leave vote is not going to be a problem can do so - for a while
For those in the 'I voted Remain and Told You So' camp: RICS survey of housing market shows marked reduction in activity Surveys from IOD and Deloittes say companies are delaying investment decisions REC report sharpest drop in consumer confidence since 1994 These leading indicators often feed through later into bad GDP and growth figures
Even when it happens those that were mugged off by the Tory leadership battle ( that's what it was really about) will claim it's not brexit related. They have already started.
There's no opposition mate which is why they want Corbyn out but he's loved by the membership, trapped by their own rules with an unelectable, lame duck leader. Red Ed's pre-leaving present changing the leadership rules while still leader!!
No it won't. This is very badly written to give the impression Britain is booming and the IMF got it wrong A proper newspaper would say the IMF have reduced their forecast for 2017 from 2.2% to 1.3%, so it's bad news But these are only forecasts it's the actual numbers we need to worry about
