Debentures are in de glass on de bedside table.... I know what they are - send me a private message if you want.
Does that mean that your a mate of WEBB'S then......Hi everyone just back from Bournemouth....5 days of wall to wall sun....nearly burnt to a cinder....had to buy a higher factor sun cream in the end.....didn't see Harry down Sandbanks as we walked past on the beach again this year, you'd think he would invite us in for a drink.....maybe Carl Fletcher warned him.
I need a couple of stiff ones today. Twas the ladies birthday yesterday. Always a difficult time for me. What to get or where to go and if I send a card do I do a funny one or a mushy one. It's mostly funny but I bet you thought it was the other variety. Well being the old romantic I got my daughter to take me and her to a Garden Centre. The idea being if I bought her some rose bushes they would last longer than a bunch in a vase. Just a tip there boys....... Stuff me she filled a bleddy trolley full of rose bushes, shrubs and some other plant things with flowers on. Today I had to plant them all. It was raining of course. Several hours of digging the bleddy garden and planting these things. I'm knackered now. It's the old Aniversary next week. I'm going to go sick for that one.
Our wedding anniversary today.....52 years ........you only get 20 years for murder.......what have I done to deserve this.......truthfully I've been a very lucky man to have Mrs Plym.....neither of us look old enough.....so we've been doing something right and have two great kids and their families living both less than ten minutes away.
Strewth!!! Bit bleddy mushy there. Bumped into an old mate of mine recently and he asked how the Mrs was. She's better than nothing I said. 47 years next week. I was a child bride though.
Your showing your ages Congratulations to you all in the wedding years. 140 years plus for the three of you.. shrewthh ! Well done.. i have done 12 nearly You should all be knighted
If you add in the number of years Lyndhurst has served in the barrell, sorry Navy, and the number of prawn sandwiches notdistant has scoffed in his boardroom meetings then we must have a millenium..........HOORAY!!!!! Sounds like an excuse for a bottle opening so I think I'll go and do it.
I'm knackered this evening. Had the dubious pleasure of taking my two youngest grandkids to the cinema today. Saw the latest Ice Age film which I had to do as I've taken them to all the others. Easy enough in the cinema it's when you come out and they have been sat down for several hours. I've been chased around the town and battered by the two little lovelies for several hours since. I don't think I could do that every day. Also finally read that the season tickets, or memberships as they like to call them although exactly what I'm a member of I don't know, are ready for collection or will be from Saturday. About bleddy time. Argyle do love to leave things late but at least once I have my hands on it then it will seem like the Season is about to start.
In wonder how many of you Ex Military Guys remember your shooting days. This weekend the GB Rifle Team and the USA Rifle Team and the Canadian Team are competing here in BC. I won't be shooting but will be the Range Sentry on the gate. Just for your information..
Showing my ignorance here.....what are the duties of a Range Sentry BC ? Being only a National Serviceman in the RAF my only shooting experience was at my basic training......when we were taken down the range and taught how to handle a Lee-Enfield .303 Rifle and a Bren Gun. Managed not to kill anyone and managed to get a marksmans badge for my efforts......after that the only time I saw a rifle was on guard duty when we had a clip of five .303 bullets that we shared with others on duty.....the sole exercise of the duty was not to be the prat who lost a round when it was your turn to be in charge of them.
