Not a chance mate ....... all we'll hear is the new 'golden generation', looking forward, clean sheet, blah fiicking blah.'
I was wondering something along those lines myself then I thought it might be one of our regulars acting the daft lad
I imagine Sam will include at least 1 senior for every pos(def, mid, att) with it likely being a young squad. He's likes to mentor Young uns. For example up front I can see likes of Rashford being mentored by Rooney and Defoe, contrasting forwards who can influence every aspect of his game. He won't do a bad job Sam, he'll give it the attention to detail the set up needs.
Ferguson backs Sam, Mourinho backs Sam, Eriksson backs Sam, the 3-man FA panel were unanimously behind Sam and met at 10 am today. But it's now 10.16 pm and still no announcement on BBC. The FA aren't sold on this, are they?
Whichever way he goes, at least he will not bog himself down with under-achievers. Two years to world cup coming on the back of a no-show at the Euros, he is open enough to fire a few and reinstate others.
