Sam Allardyce: Sunderland boss will be named as new England manager http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36850753
It's all too depressing to even think about. I mean, really? Fat Sam? Is that the best we've got?? Smacks of pure desperation from a bunch of overpaid, clueless ****ers!...
yeah the FA should have grabbed that excellent manager AKA Steve Bruce. Id have driven him down to London myself.
well on the plus side, Sunderland will stop circling the drain and end up playing Sheffield Wednesday next season.
He will sort them spoilt woofters out. Spurs lads won't need any direction, they aren't the problem, so that makes his job easier. It's people like Sturridge, sat on the bench on his Phone, pathetic.
Totally agree. hopefully them snotty ****s at the FA let him do his job. I'm looking forward to Big Sam in charge of a quality squad.
I'm with the lads who think that Big Sam is going to be a success. He's been unfairly labelled a "long ball merchant" but never been given proper credit for consistently keeping ****e teams in the World's most difficult league. If he can drag those kinds of consistent performances out of average players, just think what he can do with an entire squad of quality players. Hopefully, he has the balls to tell Rooney to fcuk off, though.
Posted this on another thread but it's more suited to here. Sam has attention to detail, he'll set his teams out to it's strengths, he'll he'll look to exploit opponents weakness. He's a data fiend on things like positioning so is well rehearsed on how oposing players will move and make runs, as well is areas of space they tend to leave exposed. He's a great man manager and gets the basics right. People are all about how it's won, these are the people who won't appreciate what Sam will bring. Those who don't care how as long as you win it will appreciate everything he does. If a defence struggles with long direct balls, he ain't going to have the team playing tippy tappy total football. He's going to hit them where they hurt. If team suits playing narrow, he's going to stretch them. He does what needs to be done and isn't seduced by a need to do it in style, which is just as well as England have serious limitations. I think he'll do well, don't think he'll win anything as the player pool isn't good enough, but I think he could deliver a quarterfinal. possibly even a semifinal.
