Agree it is not a big squad and the points you made are valid, but should we be in contention by Christmas there is always the Jan window, + the fact that there are 4 or 5 under 21s who could more than hold there own in this division
Sorry to split hairs rosc, but they are U18 and only 3 outfield players are close enough to compete in the Championship. And even then they would have to be used sparingly. As you know I'm very much behind our Academy - and we do seem to again be developing a very good crop. However, I equally believe it would be wrong to raise expectation too high, too early.
Make what you want of some of the comments . Around about 3:50 mins he doesn't sound as if he is happy. He seems to be inferring that he hasn't been given the players he wants having to work with the players he's been given (does that mean some aren't his signings), but requires and hopes he will get more experienced players before the start of the season.
