Right, I've been trying to gain weight, just overall mass not pure muscle. It's been red hot here tyoday & I'm sitting here in just my pants. I've gained a few pounds but it's all gone on my gut/waist/tits. I can't even see my belly button anymore. Nothing has gone on my arms or legs.

Have your main meal just before bedtime and sleep on all fours ........ you may not gain leg and arm weight but the farts will be world class
Men store fat viscerally mate. The last thing you wanna do is add size by adding fat as the older you get the harder it'll be to move. Women distribute fat more evenly, but men store it viscerally, in the stomach, love handles and back.
What you're looking for Billy is water retention. Doesn't generally effect men onless they've got something wrong with them. as they tend just look fat around the abdomen as fat collects around organs. When women put on weight it does something to their hormone levels which triggers the water retention so their arms legs and face appear to get fat, but it's really fluid.
Go walking and lose the excess fat. Eat a lot, but eat well, plenty of meat. You aren't a big build, like me, so it doesn't take long to put it on naturally when you eat well and often. If I'm well, in myself. I can put two stone on in two months by eating properly and going to the gym. I can never sustain it though because of my mood swings.
