Of course it's only Pools, but the team looks in a much better shape than we did last pre-season. Mind you, my work six-a-side team after a night on the lash a kebab are usually in better shape than we were last pre-season.

 

Aye they look in not bad shape at all, some blowing about (Kone, Kaboul) but to be expected.

Defoe looks ready to go already, Borini as well.

 

I've liked the way they've linked up so far as well. Hopefully see Watmore get a run out in the second half.

 

I know it's **** all but all nice and composed and all want the ball.

Definitely mate. Saw some lads on that Facebook Banter Page writing us off as relegation certainties because the u21s lost at Darlo last night... Nothing wrong with taking a bit of positivity where we can get it IMO.
