I've had a few of them mate ...... one or two turned into a nightmare. I think Allardyce is living in the past when players gave a shyte ...... ........... he'll also find the likes of Mourinho will always put their club ahead of a foreign national side.
If it is Moyes then we want M'Vila signed up by the weekend, no more messing, get the money paid NOW.
I think both are imminent. Yann hasn't even applied for a work permit he's worthless to Kazan. Moyes would absolutely want Yann, he likes that kind of powerful CM.
Good luck to Sam and thanks for last season. Now we move on with what's surely to be Moyes. The more I think about it the happier I become with Moyes, just feel like he's probably well suited to replace Sam, similar kind of managers/styles.
When Moyes was LMA 'Manager of the Year' and leading Everton to great finishes we'd have jumped at the chance to have him. Anyone who succeeded Ferguson was on a death wish tbh .......... it's already destroyed 2 managers who arrived with good reputations.
Agreed entirely. He was out of his depth at Man Utd and the Sociedad job was always going to be a nightmare. If he can do similar to what he did at Everton then I'm all for it.
This is what's got me game. For 8-10 years he was lauded, took an impossible job and failed, then went abroad to a very unique Basque club with high expectations. Yes, Sociedad player wise were far better than results, but was a foreign coach with no league experience or grasp of the language going to work in Basque Country? No, not realistically.
Me and Mrs Smug spent 7 months driving through the Mediterranean islands ....... supposed to be a fortnight I couldn't get the car out of first gear Seriously, we spent 2 months in each of Sicily, Sardinia & Corsica. I speak fluent French, and canny Italian, but FFS, they were really hard work.
It's not even as if it's normal Spanish mate I speak a bit of Spanish from living there but Basque is ****ed up, ha.
We arrived in the south of Corsica, from Sardinia, and I thought my French would stand me in good stead ..... wrong. They're a French island but hate them so speak their own language, great ........ so I learned a few handy phrases. When we got to the north of the island I proudly strode into bars asking for 'two beers and the chestnut chasers' in 'their' language ....... big mistake! It turns out the only thing the North islanders hate more than the French are the South islanders. And they have a totally different dialect & vocabulary in the North
There was an advert on our local Gumtree recently. 'Marble sculpture of the Three Graces ......... nude females, no cracks'
