An improvement on Hodgson I think, and about the best we can do right now. I think you probably do SA a bit of an injustice. Working a limited budgets at clubs like Bolton Blackburn WHU he would be limited in the types of player he could go for. Look beyond Carroll and think about players like Djorkaeff, Anelka, Jardel, Defoe, Downing, DIAME, and of course the fabulous JJ.Give him quality to use and you may just be surprised. Agree about Bruce. For me SA was always in front of him. Bruce is probably too nice/pally, and dare I say it, may have been found out with often having no Plan B. Still I hope the fella does stay with us, otherwise we'll be even further down the creek without a paddle if he goes.
