Toby - now is surely the time to try to rid ourselves of the person who is most divisive and always nasty on here - the rest of us have strong and very different views and we can sometimes say provocative things (well all of you do - I am of course a saint) but can we all agree that there is only one person whose absence would make this board better. There are a lot of people who used to post but no longer do - but theTroll keeps WUMming and tries to set us against each other. No doubt I am in for the next piece of nastiness from him.

No nastiness from me Leo, I'll leave that to you.

Are you trying to copy President Erdogan's purge of dissenting voices? You need the football season to come round quickly to give you something else to think about.

I've got lots going on investing in the new opportunities thrown up by Brexit.

But it's not as simple as that though. w_y felt the need to post on this thread because it was too 'left wing' for his liking, and he passionately supports all of SH's jibes because he thinks it's levelling the playing field.

I'll be the first to admit that I've gotten a bit emotional on certain topics, and logging on after a few hours in the pub is always a bad idea, but I also try to construct my arguments and am happy to hear any opposing views if they're coherent and not inflammatory.

We just all need to ignore him and let him post his little digs, the sad little man seems to enjoy it :frown:

Does logging on after a few beers excuse your past inflammatory foul and abusive comments although you seem to have been better behaved recently.

So far SH. you have managed to insult 8 different posters on here (there may be more, but I am not prepared to look back further) - those 8 are by no means all lefties. Naturally you occasionally get the odd reply in a similar vein. I have not however seen a single case on here of exchange of insults between other posters. When not directly insulting you spend the rest of the time either provoking, or coming out with the same old one line snide comments, which never actually answer any of the questions raised. What pleasure can there be in this for you ?

Why did you come out with 'you are talking out your balls' this morning. Was that you or somebody pretending to be you?

    Pot kettle black.

I consider myself mild left - have voted LIberal, Social Democrat or LibDem probably more than anything else but have also voted Green, Tory and Labour so I guess I am just a political mongrel. On here I feel that I am almost Thatcher Right because there really are a lot of strong Left believers. Even Yorkie who does not like Right and Left and is next to OFH as being one of the nicest people on here is really quite left wing - he is a bit like the guy though from 6th Sense and does not realise what he is .
Even our guest only posts pro left comments and cartoons - the other day his poster accusing the BBC of being pro Tory could by many have been switched to read BBC massively pro left.
But none of that really matters as it seems all bar one like to make their points and see what others say -even when we disagree. To my shame I know I went too far with Andy once on Religion and my only consolation is that he eventually returned (but he probably cursed when I did too). I really meant no offence and was sorry he took it. SH though wants to cause offence - he finds everything he can to try to hurt people - even silly jibes he made today about my one use of a swear word and the car I had were calculated as a WUM - he is not nice -he cares nothing about any of the rest of us and he contributes nothing.
I can think of nobody who comes close to him - I stand by my thoughts that he is a genuine psychopath. When I described him and his actions to my daughter - a psychologist in the NHS she identified him as having classic symptoms. Why do we allow him to distort our threads?

Nobody else on this board has ever lowered themselves to use the C word. Interesting that you have history on going too far with other posters, causing offence. Hopefully you told you daughter of your strange aggressive actions, she may be able to diagnose your problem.:emoticon-0105-wink:

You missed the preposition - you cannot 'talk out your balls', this makes no sense - you can 'talk out of your balls'. The latter is of course not physically possible - though an adept at yoga can give the impression of doing so.

The C word is actually used extensively in Chaucer - alluded to in Shakespeare, and used no less than 14 times by D.H. Lawrence. It actually constituted part of some street names in the middle ages eg. Gropecunt Lane (which was a prostitute area near St. Pancras). I am sure that Leo was using it in its finest Shakespearian traditions.

OK - I will respond as you seem to need your feeding. I chose deliberately to use a word far stronger than I ever use in real life - to shock and gain your attention. If you are really so pathetic that you consider one four letter word offensive I feel sorry for you as you must hear it every day of your life - probably aimed at you a large percentage of the time. Everybody on here causes offence to others occasionally - and when we do we apologise for it - as I did to Andy (although to be fair I said nothing untoward but he did not like my arguments on religion) You never apologise. You thrive on nastiness and provoke it. You are well aware that this week my wife had a hospital appointment for her cancer and heart condition but have you shown any interest in her or how she is or any thoughts as to what it does to me - no of course not. Others have enquired after her and given kind supportive comments - because they are normal human beings. My daughter has you sussed and unless H is prepared to take action against you then you will achieve your objective eventually and destroy this board. I was wrong - you are NOT a C as they have a purpose and are something we value but you have neither.

I have him on ignore, life's fine. The seeming one-way conversations that cologne or ofh or you have with him are very Sixth Sense <laugh>. The argument that he would've been banned from 606 is probably right, but 606 didn't have Ignore. Suffocate the attention is my advice. But we cannot lose w-y. I don't agree with everything he says (I do agree with the spirit of much though). I know where you live w-y. ;)

To allow a couple of large egos to flourish and I know Cologne is dying to mention 'party membership' again I will now leave this board.
