I think they already know Bony ears are covered toward us so why waste the time . Any rumours about Bony are media induced and the club know it's wasting time .... Otherwise , we would actually hear something out of the club .
. I don't think he will be coming here, but as with any link for any player it is media induced as you say. The only time the club comment is normally on signing someone.
I don't think we can afford Bony as in pay wise, him going to Everton in a swap plus money makes more sense for Man City, they won't have to pay any of his wages like they would with him coming to us, plus he probably wouldn't have to move house to play for Everton, i should imagine a deal will be done.
Players usually use the media as a come and get me signal for clubs. This is because if they hand in a transfer request they loose thier loyalty bonus. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/truth-behind-transfer-window-rumour-mill-those-itk
The lack of actual club imput in any media based rumour . Bony looks to be leaving Man City , media need a story , coming from Swansea before Man City makes a good story . To me the lack of comment from the club about making a bid for Bony , the exact think you are complaining about , tells me that they know it will fall on deaf ears ...just my take .
Takeover completed and new owners going unveiled tomorrow. Hopefully, some progress on strengthening the squad will follow shortly ...... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...swansea-citys-new-american-investors-11641147
I think the club could not only afford Bony , but would probably overpay for him . IMO, to me the only thing stopping Bony from coming to us is ... Bony
Totally agree, lets hear something and plans for the club. I hope now to see some action on the striker front, but not Valencia please.
I still think this is a bad time for the club. The secrecy, silence etc leaves me very worried. I hope to Christ I end up being wrong.
Valley it worries me as well, not convinced by them, lets hope they prove us wrong. On a separate note, seems like Fat Sam is to be named as England manager, leaves sunderland in an awkward spot. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...sam-allardyce-set-to-be-named-england-manager
Sunderland board saying they're in advanced talks with David Moyes. He's an improvement on Fat Sam imo.
Yep if true, still a bit of upheaval for them in their preparation, which in my book is a good thing.
I would never say Gomis had a bad attitude on or off the pitch, He looks a pleasant young man who unfortunately just dont fit in to our style of football......He is a lot better now than when he first joined the club as he does score now and again but not enough to warrant the No1 strikers role.........The idea of paying some or most of his wages to play for another club should not even be considered and we are better off keeping him here until a club that can afford him wants him...
I actually don't think the final takeover news will have any effect on what's happening behind the scenes with transfers . I think the club ,old owners and new owners are already on the same page and working their plans for transfers since before the window opened .
Totally agree .also , that fuking new avatar is fuking freaking me out man Pretty good chance Van Persie will land at Stoke , I really do think Peter Crouch has a good year or two left and would become super available with something to prove . He just wants to play with money not being a issue , either transfer or wages . I hope we would at least consider this guy .
