Just backed this Ron. Hopefully your spot on I'm on a day off and I'm adopting the gazboy betting system
A wide open maiden kicks off proceedings at Naas this evening. I'm going to chance Ger Lyons' Buddha Boy @ 80/1 - nicely bred Bated Breath gelding, ran the sublime looking Caravaggio to 10L on debut and the majority of Ger's need a run typically. Don't know much about Daly the jockey but he takes 10lbs off which is very useful. We don't have to go too mad at the odds to have some fun. Go on Buddha!! Stronger Than Me 12/1 Naas 8.25 - Ran a much better race than the figures show when beaten just 3.69L to the highly progressive Qatari Hunter lto and gave the impression a handicap was there for him of his current perch. Eased in grade tonight, this son of Marju, who also drops back to a mile can definitely make his presence felt and looks a decent outside shout.
Well, the weather's good, just booked a nice break in Durham for me and the missus ( the kids are going to Grandmas in Blackhall ) so it can't all be bad. Johnston / Norton with the winners, to rub salt in ( Well in, Ron )
Tonights 2yo maiden at Sandown is usually won by a fairly useful animal. The field doesn't look that classy though Hannon's twice placed animal and the Godolphin colt (expensive purchase) are probably top of most peoples lists. My interest is in Poet's Charm who is unsurprisingly by Poets Voice out of a mare from the best Cliveden family. If he runs well today this Crisford trained colt could be one for the future.
Bugger. The treble ****ed. Might have just broken even at Bath. At least the beautifully bred Teofonic won nicely. Forgot to put a stake on that one.
Sorry, my fault. I'll take requests for anything ye want to get beat. I could get Fankel turned over.
No harm done...at the odds was a small stakes clutching at straws bet really. Peter Park won too at Leicester. The one day no one mentions the horse he wins with Will Cox gaining his first winner!
