Has anyone accused them of breaking any rules? My gripes are nothing to do with rule breaking, they're because they tried to change our name, were refused permission, continued to do so on all club communications, merchandising, programmes etc and said that fans protesting "can die when they want". Kicking youth sports teams out of facilities they dont own and removing concessions were just icing on the cake.
That may be your view. The club are not offering any concessions to Home supporters. That is a fact, confirmed by the club, to me. This breaks PL rules. The name change ruling is broken everytime they display our playing name as anything different to Hull City.
They haven't broken any. They may have broken the financial fair play rules last season but we won't know until the accounts are published. Given Ehab's alleged stance on the Gray transfer it wouldn't surprise me if they were within those rules as well. The problem comes with the reduced attendance for the matches towards the end of the season.
Like your more people are staying away because of the seat changes? "There are no concessions, in any part of the ground", they are the club's words. A fact. That goes against the PL rules regarding concessions.
Do Arsenal have concessions for season ticket holders? From memory I think not. They offer concessions for match day tickets in one small part of the ground and for away supporters. Hull City have not announced their match day prices yet. Match day concessions in the family stand and for away supporters will be enough to meet the rules. Until the prices are announced no rules have been broken. Whether the Allams will back down and do that is another matter.
Arsenal offer concessions for junior supporters, senior citizens and disabled supporters. Hull City offer no concessions to any home supporters in any part of the ground. That has been confirmed.
Arsenal have various levels of membership. Gold is the closest equivalent to our season pass. I see nothing which indicates children get reduced prices. There are three levels of junior membership none of which guarantee a seat at every home match, ie they are not season passes. The only guarantee is priority in obtaining concessionary match day tickets. The equivalent for our two stripes membership is Arsenal's gold membership. I previously asked OLM whether children could buy a Gold Membership at a discount and the answer was no they had to pay the full adult price.
An U16's season pass at Arsenal (that the only youth concession pass they do) was £345 last season. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ve-season-ticket-prices-for-the-201516-season
These were last year's prices, they backed down on plans to increase them for this season. That's a healthy concession on the cheapest child price vs cheapest adult. All prices below are obtained from official club information and based on standard purchase deals. Arsenal Most expensive adult: £2039 (general admission) Cheapest adult: £1035 Cheapest junior (U16): £345
Who gives a **** about what Arsenal do. Rules or no rules what our club is doing is morally wrong, its also so wrong that we are pricing out new young supporters rather than encouraging them with incentives. Run a business these ****s couldn't run a bath.
It just indicates what the Premier League is likely to do. If Arsenal don't sell season tickets at reduced prices and only have cheap match day prices available in the family stand they are not going to insist we do. Which means the Allams can abide by the letter of the rules whilst denying most of our support concessions.
Here's the Arsenal web page its not on there. http://www.arsenal.com/membership I think I'll just ask their supporters trust.
That's their membership page, it's got nothing to do with passes. I've already told you my nephew sits in a season pass concession seat at Arsenal.
I 100% agree about the morals being wrong, but as it stands, tbey've seemingly broken no pl/fl rules. We'll hopefully find out nearer the weekend what the PL stance on the membership scheme is. I think it matters, because it gives a better focus for any action. If the Allams are within the rules, then I'd argue the rules are wrong. If they're outside the rules, the authorities need to enforce them. Either way, it would be the pl/fl that fans would need to be dealing with in the discussions and actions. The Allams would be irrelevant.
Can you post a list of people at the PL who praised the Allams' use of the ASI fund? Or anything at all which supports that claim?
Yes. I posted it when it was raised before. I think it was in the thread where someone was going to post the rules for ASI.
