Thats all good and well fellas but who in their right mind would be interested if Bruce was to go? Our club has get lots of negativity around it at the moment, I cant think of a decent manager who would want the hassle of working with the Allams.
Yes. Could be total pie in the sky. hearing murmurs allardyce isn't keen on the England job after the interview Looks like Bruce is in pole position for it If not he has a mutual agreement with Fulham should he walk from city Chris Coleman now there's a manager could he be tempted
Fulham already have a decent manager in place, they're already signing his targets, why would they get rid of him for Bruce? I think it's bollocks by the way.
He sounds desperate to go anywhere. There's no chance of SB getting the England job. They want someone forward thinking and if they look at some of Bruce's past negative tactics away to bottom of the league clubs his fate should be sealed. He's a great bloke but his limitations are exposed. I think people forget how much he spent on players to get the success he has achieved. He's obviously trying to jump ship as quickly as he can so while the club is in a mess now would be a good time to go. It will leave the club rudderless but who'll notice the difference?
Just playing devils advocate - have you thought that Bruce might be different with a better calibre of player?
Bollocks, they will have looked at all that before they even considered interviewing him so by still getting the interview I think we've passed the point of looking at managerial records and stats.
It would be nice, in a way, somewhere down the line, to look back and think about the time when Hull City's manager was poached by England. Short term it would be easily resolved anyway. Assem is thankfully a lot healthier so it would free up Ehab to take over as interim manager I know what you're thinking, he doesn't have the experience, but there would be measured in place to ensure if he didn't perform he would step down...within 24 hours What could possibly go wrong?
With all the hype for an English manager from Shearer and co they had to speak to him. Anyway, Big Sam reckons he's red hot at interviews using PowerPoint. He played a blinder but I'm told Steve was fine until he ran out of chalk.
Sam Allardyce set to be appointed next England manager and Sunderland are in advanced talks with Moyes (James Olley - Standard)
Well that's that particular escape route blocked off for Brucie if true. Hope he can get over it quick enough to rally against these seemingly insurmountable odds here at City at the moment. We need him 100% focused.
With good reason. I don't blame Bruce one bit. Imagine working for ****s like the Allam family and then the England job presents itself.
The Evening Standard seem certain that Allardyce has the job and they're generally very reliable with FA stuff... http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...rmed-as-the-new-england-manager-a3295996.html
