Just seems completely pointless banning shot guns that hold over 2 rounds , this guy has clearly shown that you can kill more than 2 people with a shotgun in one of the strictest countries for firearms laws.
I warned Gambol this might happen. The only thing this proves is that you can kill two people with a shotgun and then kill yourself later. If shotgun magazines were not illegal the owner could go on a killing spree (albeit a close-range one) and take out lots of people (more than 2) before he was taken out. That's why they are illegal.
I am not quite as confident in the police force as you Dev. I am fairly certain that if a crazed killer walked into a crowded public space he could kill batches of 2 people for a good 20 to 30 mins minimum before the armed coppers even arrived depending where he chose to carry out the attack. In Dev World the assailant would be "taken out" before he could put in 6 cartridges. You can reload a 12 bore double barrel shotgun in under 10 seconds with ease . Not sure if you can get your head around that concept Dev .
All I know was about 25 years ago my friend's father owned a farm and had many shotguns for hunting and clay pigeon shooting. I fired a pump action that had more than 2 cartridges. If it was illegal then we clearly didn't care as he owned all the surrounding land and I was only 15 anyway. If they are banned because the police think they can "take out " the shooter before making the 3rd or 4th shot then it's a pointless law . I'll take your word for it that they are banned. It would take over an hour to get to the nearest manned police station from where I was in Norfolk.
