Breaking news...Gomis impending move comes to a halt over wage demand, this will have to be sorted or he wont be going anywhere...

He has 2 years left on his contract, so if we want him to go then we will probably have to top up his wages, otherwise we will have to keep him. That's the risk we take on signing players for 4 year contracts, it's a double edged sword.

Unless someone buys him or pays almost all his wages on loan , keep him .
10 goals in 19 Appearences up until he got his knickers in a twist .... The ability is in there somewhere and maybe Guidolin can get it out of him .
We have a striker deficit, sorry , it makes sense .
I for one will be as upset as the " Get Gomis the Fuk out of here Troop " if we half to pay half his wages at another club .Sorry if this rubs the majority around here .

I'd rather just pay him up and get rid. Don't want yo see him in a Swans shirt ever again tbh.

As for the striker deficit, Guido must take a share of the blame here, he should never have authorised/agreed to the sale of Palo and Eder without having replacements lined up.

This transfer window is now a joke. The season kicks off in 3 weeks and we've weakened the squad not strengthened it.

Why should we make him happy? He gets paid 50-80k a week. Isn't that enough to make him happy? His attitude stinks and we need to offload him, whatever the price.

I haven't actually seen his attitude that stinks, can you direct me to any interviews he's done that drags the club through the mud?

His attitude on the pitch. He showed no effort or desire. He just stood there or walked around, especially when he lost the ball.
He also had no interest in tracking back defensively.
The only thing he was good at was standing offside and laughing/smiling every time he did something poor.

But Gomis was useless under Curtis and Guido too, whereas under Monk, just like Jonjo, Gomis was a favourite of his.

Curtis and Guidolin were thrown straight into the deep end with the team .
They have had a summer of water wings and shallow ends to work with the team and its wounded players .
All I'm saying is a player like Gomis has potential , 10 goals in 19 happy games proves that .
Otherwise teams like Sunderland , Newcastle , West Ham and Marseille wouldn't be interested .
We may have to make lemonade with Gomis .....

The fact that these clubs are interested sums his ability up. Defoe is leagues better than Gomis, so he would be on the bench there if Sunderland just stick 1 up top.

Others responded and improved under Curtis and Guido. Gomis was his useless self.

If we have to pay 70 % of Gomis's wages , I'd rather pay the extra million or so to either watch him get back to his old form .....or watch him rot on the bench .
If Gomis is so anxious to go to Marseille on loan instead of being sold outright , and Marseille is so anxious to bring him in on loan.... Let Gomis take a cut in wages and let Marseille pick up a lot more of his wage bill or they can both go fuk themselves .

But he only had a bit part role under the both of them, so coming on for 5-10 minutes a game is hardly going to improve his goal scoring chances. Keeping him on the bench would piss anyone off. So he must have been doing something right in training otherwise he wouldn't be on the bench.

So the making sense of the goalkeeping situation actually made no sense as they are as much in the dark as we are and are just guessing.

Of course there will be a lot of coulda shoulda woulda confusion amoungst fans , how could we know ? .
There is no confusion amoungst the coaching staff , they signed him .
Neufeldt was a Monk signing and has been used very little ....my guess is he is on his way out , possibly on loan .
The Aussie is Ambrosetti find so look for him to have the inside track on being back up .
Maybe Fab has a possible transfer behind the scenes for all we know .
Guidolin and Ambrosetti are tight , it didn't take long for Ambrosetti to be added to the staff after Guidolin was given the job .
He was in the stands with Guidolin watching the Watford game before Guidolin's first game against Everton .
Apparently after Ambrosetti retired he travelled the world looking at players and teams and him and Guidolin kept in touch after there stint together as player and manager .

Swan he is ok, but first thing we need is a striker not another wide player and not our sort of wide player either, comes inside not out and has no pace. Probably an old story, I cant remember him having much game time at Spurs towards the end of the season, so maybe something in it.

Certainly not at 15m, far to much, 5m maybe.
