Coaching is far too expensive, pitches are being sold off for redevelopment at a quicker rate than pubs and unless they're replaced by for profit companies over charging to use their pitches. Two things I see handicapping the game. All well good their being leagues for kids but better coaching and more facilities would improve the end result massively. Lower the coaching fees so people can train to a higher standard and give them the tools and the space to train with and those kids be better than they wouldn't be without. I also believe Premier League clubs get hold of kids too early giving many of them unrealistic expectations, those how do make go on like been their and seen it all. I'd like FA to create infrastructure to bridge the gap between playing for you county as school kid and being taken on by the Professional clubs.

I'm all for scholarship university leagues with a youth draft at the end to help bridge that gap, open a FA school of excellence at every university, every uni has a team, the coaches are up to the same standard a prem club can offer. The lads a get an alternative education while playing football which they'll actually get the chance to finnish an education and have a fallback trade or field. Or I'm open to any other ideas to bridge that awkward gap. It needs infrastructure. It needs investment and the ****ers can more than afford it.

I could never hate my nation, but I am pissed off with the way the FA are totally disrespecting our position.

Not supported England since 2002 as a 13 year old.

2006 I didn't really follow it. 2010 I supported Paraguay because of our players. 2014 I supported Aus because of the wife.

England means nothing to me in terms of football. Love the cricket team, love the rugby team but I don't feel the footie team have represented me for a long time.

Lost interest a long time back like it seems most of us on here did.
i am not interested in England friendlies as they are pointless get togethers that prove nothing so i don't watch them.
When a tournament is on i think to myself, this time we have got to be better than the last debacle, but alas we get served up the same gutless performances from the prima donnas that are the best that England can produce?
When Sam takes over i might show a little more interest in the national team just to see how he does.
Other than that i couldn't give a flying **** what the FA or England do especially as we have been royally ****ed up the arse.

That would really piss me off about Sam! It's the only thing in this whole situation that would. Our club is being hgeld on tenterhooks by the whole situation so if Sam is ging to do this then, unless he signs 3 players the day after he dopes it - I'll be seriously pissed off with him!!

I'd still prefer to have Sam in charge than effectively start again with a new setup, at least we had a good man manager with a strategy that was looking better than the last 4 seasons.
