Sorry forum police..... as i say, pretty close to a sell out is good enough for me.

Have a wager with yourself how much pretty close could be.

Obviously they haven't announced anything yet, but that was the plan.

As has been said already, it's ridiculous that it hasn't all been announced already, but the delay is obviously down to trying to sort a deal with the Premier League to get round the rule breach.

Hopefully we'll get some info after HCST meet with the Premier League on Thursday.

Yawn... I will be there, exactly where I said I would be. Doubters come and Doubters go. I could change my signature to say you are a twat if I wished to and I quite clearly may be correct... what difference does that make. Let it go, it's only a football forum.

If it makes you feel better I will tell you a lie every day.

What difference does it make to you? I will be there this season, I will be in my seat in the south, I missed last season due to work commitments (other than boxing day vs burnley), I have been going since 11 yrs old with my old man. The only other season I missed is the season after when Bradford were given the south stand as a protest against fish.

This is the last time I will explain to you, I have said it slowly and as plainly as I can so hopefully it may seep into one of the holes in your head, not that it is really anything gets to do with you at all.

P's will you be attending this season?

Unfortunately as a proven liar what you say will be taken with a pinch of salt. You proven lies makes all you claim irrelevant, like yourself.

You try & convince yourself. Everyone can see you for what you are. A lying PLW.

    What does "P's" mean?

I hope the Premier League take the pair of odious ****s to task, and a points deduction or some high profile threat is issued.
Will also gain media coverage as to what complete poison is residing at the top of our club.
    Pricks.

I like a good chucking of tennis balls like the best of them, but whether it be a coffin or a red card, you know what I really can't be arsed anymore.

Pretty much three seasons of this putrid crap has done it for me. Gradually got to the point, where last season I went to Derby at home twice and Wemberlee. MK Dons away and I think that's it would have to check. Yet in the really dark times I barely missed a game, home away, cups of whatever description and so on.

I really think that any change of ownership now would not see me rushing back.

    Cannot be friggin arsed anymore

So how many do you think will be there fir the opening fixture against the reigning champions? You have gone from a sell out to pretty close is good enough for you. Though why anyone who thinks that is good enough really is pretty clueless.

I have heard this sentiment regularly from mates and customers I deal with, all of whom stopped going last season.
There really are more things for people to do nowadays with their money, that are quite often more entertaining and less hassle.

    Cheers :emoticon-0148-yes:
I hope so too. I just wondered whether I'd missed some info on how you bought tickets when they do eventually decide the price
The outcome of Thursday's meeting will be fascinating actually

    This is sadly very true
It takes some doing in an 'industry' where there is an established customer base, who actively want to buy a new version of your product every year, and who don't actually mind if your product is that good, they certainly have no expectation that it will be the best of the available products, just so long as it looks like you and your staff have done their best...........to completely ****ing alienate them!

I don't want any part of this ****ing 'industry' or 'product'.
It's tiresome. With the added bonus for City fans of having the most despicable **** nuggets at the helm.

Yes, I did care. A lot. But have had it beaten out of me. Can barely be arsed to moan anymore. Boring ****.

Personally I think the first game of the season would be a great chance to protest against the Allams. Baseballs being thrown onto the pitch is an idea but their is always chance stewards would take them off you. American flags on paper would be easier to smuggle in plus if as many people do it as people did the red card protest, then it would be very effective.

They'll need to change seats to get the message across

In my view, the campaigns seem to miss the mark, an I'm not convinced an 'Allam out' works, unless there's a viable replacement on side with the protest. TWS did that one, and have ended up worse off than they were with Bates.

I know some argued strongly against it, but I still don't believe that the cost of tickets was the issue, it was the foolishness of destroying future support and ignoring the contribution long term fans that 'earned their stripes' at boothferry park.

What the protests continue to ignore, and I believe it's one of the single biggest factors is the breaking up of long term groups by closing stands or forcing fans to move seats in other ways. I believe that has cost us more fans than any other action.

Any actions need to focus on that disrespect, but confrontation won't work, it'll just extend the "game" and could possibly cause potential investors to look elsewhere.

In my view, what's needed is more humour and satire. The media don't help, so something needs to be done in a way that they can't ignore.

As the scheme affects the youngest and oldest, maybe start with inflatable zimmers, dummies, prams, rattles etc. Fans in pensioner or baby masks, or inflatables dressed up as children or pensioners and thrown to the empty seats, but not done with venom, done with sarcasm and ridicule.

If, as is claimed, the club don't want to talk to fans, fine, the fans should refuse to talk to the club, and that should be all of the club, no hunting for bits of gossip. Chances are it's just drip fed from above and part of the 'game' anyway. (#Fez I know, I know)

I'm sure others could chuck some piss takes in as ideas, it's got to be worth a trying to paint them as villains at every turn just makes it worse and humour is more likely to unite fans.

Going back to the issue of protests. I'm in favour of a stay away protest, just because I will not under any circumstances allow my (not very) hard earned money end up in the pockets of the Allams. People will attend games and therefore voiciferous protests, red cards etc will of course be useful in raising attention about the issues we are facing, but they have to explicit. Just as an example, "Bring back concessions for oaps and kids" banners would be very easy for the media to pick up on and would explain in no uncertain terms what the issue is. There are many protests led by supporters groups where it is difficult to know what the exact issues are. I know that charlton and Blackpool fans are protesting regularly, but I couldn't say exactly why, even though I've taken some notice of media articles about their situations.

There are loads of ways to explicitly set out why the Allams need to go, but red cards on their own only shows that fans are unhappy, not why.

But please can we avoid - as one or two have suggested - waving American flags. This does not set out our plight and will look irrelevant to outsiders and the media. Also, we do not know enough about any prospective buyers to start championing their causes for them. There are many attempts at buying football clubs that come from groups that do not have the best interests of the club in mind, Look at Leeds and Portsmouth.

What this does show though, is that in order for a largely working class set of fans to be hoping like hell for their club to be taken over by a group of Americans who are likely to want to maximise profits for their own ends, we must have a seriously despicable clan of owners of our club.

God help us and let's just hope we are not wishing in a few years for the Allams either to be gone, or even worse, for them to be back - no joke intended!!
