Just curious but is there a reason we're taking Mr Bielby's word as gospel? I don't know anything about the guy, why/how would he know details?
I've now listened to the interview. Geoff Bielby has cancelled his membership as a result of the sale falling through.
Geoff cancelled in June, he said if the owners hadn't sold up a week before the first payment was taken, he'd cancel it and he did.
The original name was the Premier Club. It's now Premier Tiger, which doesn't even make sense. "I'm a member of Premier Tiger" It's bollocks
If 10,000 others had done that I reckon they'd be gone by now. And then they all could've signed up for season tickets with the new owners.
Are the bollocks part of the Premier Tiger's member or is the Premier Tiger's member just the sausage bit & not the scrote as well?
I've never thought otherwise. It's just some of the posters on here who seemed to think it would have made a difference & that the club would suddenly become a different entity. Oh - and of course CTWD (now renamed HCST) - it gave them something to protest about!
I thought we'd been told recently there was absolutely zero chance of the area being developed? I understand why no one would want to pay an extra 6m quid for something that essentially you can do **** all with because you don't own it. We really need a new ground. Or a new council.
There was never an issue with the ground being developed, there was just an issue with the ground being given away to someone to develop it, or increasing the size of the area to be developed to include the rest of Walton Street.
Geoff and Burnsy missed a trick this morning. Half way through the interview Burnsy had to cut to a travel report because the barriers had been down at Walton St. for half an hour. Unlike the KC, where the drawbridge has been up for the last 2 years
I renewed my pass, as didn't want to give up my hull city. Now the sale doesn't look like it will happen any time soon, it will be getting cancelled.
