I listened to it last night, quite a rant for Burnsey. I thought it was funny the presenter from Bristol saying that when he was told Odemwingie was on trial with a club in our area, he assumed is was Scunny.
That specific post wasn't (other than it being an attempt to deflect attention away from Nick's ****ty treatment by the Allams), I was referring to all the 'Yanks have no money' **** to try and justify the Allams position.
I read that as tongue in cheek. Labelling alternative views as 'Allam apologists' doesn't really help things much, it just adds to the divisions. It's no better than labelling people as a noisy minority.
The Allams claimed they bought the club as a gift to the people of Hull. Since doing so, they've gone about systematically pissing off the people of Hull. Last week, they had a chance to walk away with everyone happy, while making a massive profit in the process, they chose not to take that opportunity. That is their choice, but it dispels once and for all the 'gift' myth.
They probably haven't sacked him due to the fact they probably could not tempt another manager to join the club and take their ****.
Really? The website has been awash with Hull Tigers advertising recently, it would be massively unlike the HDM to turn against an income stream.
So they have pissed off. Their fans. The FA. An interested buyer. Radio Humberside. The Hull Daily Mail. Isn't that the ****ing full house?
Why not lay the blame for sacking the ice hockey coaches at Hull Ice Arena on them too ? That move effected loads of local kids just like the Airco Arena was supposed to have done. Haven't heard anyone lambasting the Council though for doing exactly the same thing.
