Obviously you have no idea. Tubbylard came into being during the fanzine years, him being a major contributor. Of course that was in the days we were in the lower divisions so a lot of people will be unaware of it. His name has nothing to do with football. Some of us seem better informed than you.
They're the most accurate and reliable sources. Other rags and other message boards tend to just add a lot of speculation. There isn't much that Twitter misses if you follow the right people.
There's an awful lot they get wrong. You can find any view that takes your fancy on twitter. One of them is bound to turn out right in the end.
Who said that's what it's worth? If it was worth $15 to them yesterday, why would they care if they have to still spend $15 today? The club and the facilities are worth no less in absolute terms.

Knowing who to follow is what makes Twitter either very useful, or a complete waste of time, it takes very little time to figure out who gets things right most of the time and who gets things wrong.
You've gotta be joking ? Had the UK stayed in Europe do you think the quid would have strengthened against the $US. Do you think the quid might have plunged had the UK voted out ? FFS, these guys are in the financial industry.
It will have been agreed in pounds and even if it wasn't it would have been renegotiated based on a significant shift in the exchange rate before the deal was done.
Maybe the Allams agreed a deal in US$ believing a Remain vote, but got fingers burnt, hence now seeking to pull out...
