    As voted for by fans.
    Do you agree?
Hard to disagree i think, apart from maybe swap QuInn for Clough.
Sunderland’s greatest team (4-4-2): Montgomery; Makin, Hurley, Watson, Gray; Shackleton, Ball, Bracewell, Tueart; Quinn, Phillips.

Wouldn't have Quinn or Ball. Makin, Bracewell, Gray are debatable.

Back four of that team is ****ing awesome. I think the only change would be on the right, I would go with Summerbee or Johnston ( no, not Johnson the kiddie fiddler).

Not easy this. Would say 83's team is better.

Trying but failin to get players like Shaun Elliot. Steve Bould and Stefan Shwarz in the team. But who to ommit is the problem.

Would like to see Colin Todd in the team and maybe Jim Baxter at his best.

Is this team only based on players since WW2? If not we need to look back to the teams which won the League in the 1890's and early 1900's. But I don't know enough about the players to comment. Then there would be the likes of Carter And Mapson from the 1937 cup winning team.
