Why not? A good man manager.is what you want. That means being able to motivate a sulky brat. Warnock managed it. So did Hughes. So did Seedorf. Harry failed. Twice.
If you want a clearer example - he managed to motivate us to two dreadful relegations from the PL blaming everyone else including his teams. The first time his excuse was that he inherited a bunch of duds and did not have enough time to save us - only 26 games as I recall and the disastrous January transfer window. The second time he left us because of a knee injury having motivated HIS TEAM to the most abject set of performances away from home I can ever remember.
As examples of good man managers who get the best out of the team they have, Harry is not the man that immediately springs to my mind. There are a couple who have managed us recently who are worthier candidates for that reputation.
