We don't know if they've ****ed up or not yet. All we have is rumours, and they've been well wide of the mark before.
Talks put on hold until September doesn`t suggest the deal is off, it`s easy to sit here and suggest this and that, but as I`ve said before unless you`re getting your info direct from Allams or the prospective buyers it`s third hand, and as such speculation, unless of course anyone wishes to admit they are a relative of these people !

Dont think its a case of ****ing it up dutch. I know the resident experts on here think the Allams are idiots but they are far from it. They will have worked out the financial side of it if the Yanks do walk. They will certainly be able to carry on as owners. And they will certainly walk away whatever the situation with more money than they walked in with whenever they do go. Who blinks first now. The Yanks or whoever are behind the yanks have come too far, IMHO, and will be back. There arent that many clubs for sale in our position. If they wanted it done before the season started then they wouldnt be able to go and get it done at another one in a few weeks.
If its true that the deal been put on hold till September, it doesn't make sense, if we get off to a poor start in the pl then it gives the yanks the advantage when September and money's discussed comes around, got a feeling all this mucking about going to bite the Allarms on the arse big time, what a cluster f*ck.
I can help you there. The filthy rich of the Middle East are pretty traditional. They certainly don't trust people like us or our legal system or our military capacity. If you want to deal with them you need a hybrid middle-man who speaks Arabic and knows their customs ... such as keeping us waiting for up to a week until we are invited to their tent in the desert, where we are expected to kow-tow. One such hybrid I know had a Lebanese father and English mother. He is nearly 80 now, but has done very well out of his mixed race heritage, if demanding commissions is considered doing well.
