    Even more hilarious the more I read.

    Dis anyone see the BBC bit about one of the players had been working, driving his taxi a couple of hours before kick off.

    He was probably there to pick up that sour faced, stuck up, arrogant prick Rogers...

    I always imagined when getting the sack (sorry released) from 'Pool a scene like that old Alan Partridge sketch where he dances in leather hotpants for the new controller. With the same effect.

    Oh, that's quite old news. Happened a couple of weeks ago. They're working to get the various measures right to allow the stadium to take supporters again. Safety issues, I believe.

    It isn't anything to do with the ground safety. It is that they have no-one employed that is a safety certificate holder. They changed their staff around (and of course turnover) and when the safety inspection arrived they didn't have a nominated safety certificate holder so failed the inspection.

    I know this is all a technicality and something will happen to change the situation, but imagine being a Burton fan going there to play one of your big neighbours with this piece of news in mind. Trust the Burton songwriters are already working on variations on old songs

    "Your support is ****ing zero" etc etc!

    Hey, that's a good one. I reckon Borders. There's a slice of Geordie in there and some Scots burr. Possibly more south of the border than north. ;)

    Mind you, I once a heard a conversation between two Northumberland fishermen and it was totally incomprehensible. If someone had told me they were speaking English I would have had to take their word for it, because there wasn't a single part of one word that I caught. And they carried on 5 minutes or so.
