Hard to say what Tadic is worth. Might depend on whether we think that we need to sell him owing to his contract situation or not.

Leverkusen doesn't make a tonne of sense, though...even with CL football, they probably don't need to spend big on another wide player.

No point in letting go a player whom we know and who is familiar with us at anything less than double what it would take to replace him. He's a keeper.

 

We bought him for £10 million. Had two good seasons in the PL, especially last season. £20 million player.

Is the Tadic talk just lazy journalism, based on the falling out he had last season with his national coach and his dislike of Koeman?

I'm sure you will all be shocked to find that I don't mind selling Tadic if the price is right and/or he doesn't want to stay and/or he doesn't fit with Puel's tactics.

15-20m would be an okay price by me. Possibly we could get more, I would be playing hardball with Schalke knowing that they are both flush with cash and in need should Sane go.

If Tadic wants a pay rise/extension, it's reasonable for the club to offer him one as well. Should still have at least 2-3 good seasons left and has looked quite good at times, and there is reason to believe he could flourish now that Koeman is gone.

Would optimally prefer to just sell him next year or let him run out his contract, but that option might be off the table.

 

Tadic is a player the club need to now put the foot down over. Keeper, we have no other creative players like him.

I know that - I'm just saying he'll get Champions League wherever he moves, so he will not be jumping the Leicester ship and taking a backwards step.
