I believe there were a few factors involved, to be honest, anyone going bust that quick is using Brexit as an excuse, this company would have still went under, it doesn't happen overnight. In 2013, the CAA warned holidaymakers to be cautious about booking with LowCostHolidays, Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...idays-110-000-Britons-risk.html#ixzz4EZqQqYgB They are not even UK based, they moved operations to Spain and themselves from ATOL. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ing-summer-holidays-110-000-Britons-risk.html 'Delayed decisions' Smith & Williamson said intense competition had caused the collapse but also the increased terror threat and the uncertainty before and after the recent referendum. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36810558
Why do people bother with tour operators at all anymore. Thousands of quality apartments and houses available all over Europe and cheap flights. Far better quality holiday and don't have the extra hassle of swarms of lager louts from you know where spoiling everyone's holiday
Haven't bothered with one in years, we always go direct and book our own flights. I often wonder why more people don't...
glory glory glory united lol.like i posted do a bit of reading first glory old chap.you seem a touch bitter.brexit is not to blame for this company going bust.lesson to be learned here for everyone.book with atol and abta only.
So how does brexit mean we will not let all theses people in. Do tell, I am holding my sides so I won't split them at your explanation.
we won't be part of the EU,they wont have any right to live and work here,we won't let them, gee your a bit slow.
Youd better start training up some nurses, doctors, train and taxi drivers and all the other professionals that keep your country going cos youre own lot cant seemingly do any of those jobs
Nurses and Doctors yes of coarse we will still allow them in,selective immigration, just the millions with few skills we will stop. Ps the train drivers and taxi drivers are mostly Brits they just don't look like they are.lol
Think those on both sides of the fence needs to stop trading insults and live in real world that this democratic process has left us in. Reality is markets respond to uncertainty and this is going to be the case until we exit the EU, truth is no one knows what the effects of that will be. First sticking block already is the Europeans want us to invoke article 50 straight away. We want a few negotiations to see how we sit outside of Europe before we do that. They insist article 50 is the only way to start the talks, so May needs to be as brave as she says. Davis is quoted as talking about our trade with Germany, Italy for cars etc, entirely forgetting they cannot have independent trade agreements with countries outside of the European Union (us), a worry as he is the minister for Brexit. We have absolutely no international trade agreements and presumably (I could be wrong) can't unti we exit or at the very least invoke article 50 and renegotiate our legal standing in the EU. Not saying the country won't eventually emerge stronger but it is going to take a number of years to disentangle ourselves from Europe, the added complication being we will undoubtedly want access to the free market so we will have to see what we are prepared to accept for that. My last ever words on politics, come on you whites buy some ****ing quality signings
So we are going to ban all these people and in return we get to freely trade with all the wealthy countries right on our doorstop? Oh no that's right, the yanks are going to let us be the only country to sell to them tariff free and all the potless countries in Africa and on the other side of the world will want to buy all the stuff we currently sell to the eu, the sun will never set, death won't exist and small babies won't cry. God give me strength.
Agree, go on tinternet, book a hotel & flights and cut out the middleman's charge. Going to happen to estate agents one day
According to reports in the posh papers (so Chesh won't have seen them) we have told the sweatties we won't trigger article 50 until they are ready.... That sounds like a veto to me!
ATOL protection. Ironically it's those booking flights and hotels separately with lowcostholidays that are not protected and will lose most.
You watch too much TV we will trade and do deals with the rest of the world the same way 99% of the world do that aren't in the EU. ARE YOU STILL HIDING IN YOUR BUNKER WAITING FOR WW3 ?.some people believe anything
