I found the Sky coverage heavily Sussex biased and it was good to have Dominic Cork fighting our cause!
It was great bowling, but it was also just one game of t20. He's looked badly out of his depth in four day cricket so far - as has McManus in all formats, really. It'll be interesting in fact if play Wheal in the huge, huge game starting tomorrow against Surrey, or if we recall Tommo (looking at our 12 man squad, I'd say it's a certainty that McLaren and Best will be recalled in place of Dawson and Crane). But given that we have nothing to play for in the t20s, there's no reason for us not to continue with them more. And I've looked the look of young Griffiths so far. A few more good games, and I suspect that we'll go asking for him to stay full-time.
True, but a good technique might be more use. Pakistan leading by 271, the game's slipping away from England.
Not sure why. Vince's whole career is littered with quick, pretty 30s and 40s. Only once he's got past 50 is there any ever prospect of him pushing on. He rarely looks out of place. He rarely converts. I've always taken it to be a mental issue, because he has the game (if slightly lacking in feet movement).
