I'm impressed by the positivity on this thread. If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.
999 talks sense I would like to see a few more follow his lead. we have a very good core does anyone remember how we played last year ... only three go down and i still maintain that the 999 list above could be extended to include Fulham, Stoke, Sunderland and bugger it Everton and Villa don't start like rockets ... honestly what inspires these teams fans? where's the passion? ... we deserve something and i can't see these teams thrashing us and at LR they will all know about us. Plus Match of the day Saturday Night then Match of the day 2 Sunday nights not to mention Sky. Come on! ..... "Terrible defending" Hanson will be saying I am sure as we leak a couple of goals here and there just the what the NEGs of not 606 would love i bet? . Taarabt scores or makes wonder goal is another possible headline ... there's always an upside tune in radio 999 and all feel better asap
Question for you, Tooting me old china. What would make you happy? Not in a romantic or esoteric way, of course. I mean at QPR. Would you be happy if they spent £80million on players, and paid them £200k a week each? Would you be happy if the owners commited us financially to a new 75,000 seater stadium outside the M25? I'm honestly asking, because I don't know what would make you happier. All I know is what makes you unhappy, and that's reading positive posts about the club we all love. No wind up, just an honest question, hoping for some opinion to back up all the happy-bashing I see from you.....
I'm happy enough with who we have bought Willy - maybe one of the Kyles would have finished it off nicely, and I'm not too bothered about Dyer - but other than that no complaints. Likewise with the ticket prices - reasonable enough in my opinion. Not sure where or why you think I've a downer on the club? I've not bitched about our owners to high heaven, nor abused them by calling them Goons or gone mad over our signings (or lack of). If it was my quote above, well that was meant tongue in cheek to the optimism of the thread, not as any real complaint I've got with positivity. One rep point to the first poster to spot the show it came off...
I understand where you're coming from, but I believe Norwich have done the same. No Woodgate or Hargreaves etc, but young hungry players from the lower leagues.
i agree Canary and without doubt Norwich were excellent I think we will break records together .. Norwich and QPR will stay up i am certain, Wigan Blackburn Swansea i feel will be the unlucky teams
I agree, Steve Kean's a bit of an inexperienced manager, Wigan have lost their star player, and Swansea remind me of Blackpool too much.
Agree wholeheartedly Dave. No more negative posts. WE ARE QPR and we are the champions. I'm absolutely certain that we're in the Prem. to stay. C'. . MON YOU RRRR'S
i think with a good defender in we will be ok little bit short of pace at the back but im sure warnock will sort it so enjoy the ride
Willy, I can't agree with this at all. You seem to be suggesting Tooting's a mug who puts a downer on threads. I've read a fair few of his posts and he stands out for me as a more than reasonable contributor. Maybe you've seen stuff I've missed or caught him on an off-day? I don't know but I've certainly seen nothing from Tooting (or anyone else on here come to that) who wants the owners to run the club into the ground by throwing 'silly money' as Ecclestone calls it, at players or Emirates-type stadiums... Anyway, no offence or challenge intended. Just think you've misunderstood Tooting, that's all.
