In short yes thats her. Character got better and basically ended ip running the show. She started out as just complete nuts and useless to magically engineering proton packs in 5mins which was very silly but i dont think they cared about realism at all. She was just plain good in role as written but no egon sadly. They needed mccarthy to be the peter character and she just was not. There was no ray character to balance the blonde egon but the Winston female was good. Basically it ended up as the two mains being just really weak and the side kicks being better, funnier and more relevant. Solid 6 for the rest of it. Could have been a smash but for the two mains. Perhaps badly written, perhaps weak performances... i dunno. The fawning over thor as the secretary made one of them who was supposedly a professor just look stupid
Changing the whole Ghostbusters cast to women was stupid, no need for all this girl power crap. I'm hoping mini luv doesn't want to watch it so that I can avoid.
Well I didn't know that Dan Aykroyd was a producer on it til trailers came up. All the old cast were there in some cameo form. A statue of ol egon was seen. I just felt that they went too far with all female too but after a frankly car crash first half hour it did get going. It was 2 hours Long!!!! As I said the two mains let it down badly. Could've actually been a classic
Noticed Oz was being shown on Sky Atlantic last night, never seen it but heard good things. Anybody seen it before? Also looking forward to Westworld in October.
Tonight I'm going to finish season 1 of Penny Dreadful and also watch The Nice Guys. Will probably get round to Preacher as well.
The Nice Guys is OK but over hyped 7/10 worth a watch but critics are getting caught up in the 90's buddy movie nostalgia no way is it worth the high ratings it's getting.
