It must be the turn of France to be bitten by her History. When much of Europe was hell bent on Colonisation, France ended up with, mostly, North African and what we now refer to as Middle Eastern, territories. These are now the countries where the natives, (people native to that country), tend to speak French as their first or second language. So we have Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon and Syria all coming under this heading. And in the same way as the citizens of former UK Colonies tended to emigrate to The UK, the people from these former French colonies have headed, and continue to head, to France. With more flooding in it should not be shock when what was a reasonably controlled melting pot, turns into a cauldron. I can see the problem. I can not see the solution.
France has nearly 5million muslims, mostly from north Africa and the east med, as you say. If only 0.001, one thousand'th of 1% are radicalised, that's still 5,000 potential problems. The irony of France's present circumstances is that they did their hardest, with Germany, to stop the Americans going into Iraq, and they the one's paying the heaviest price at the minute. @Smug in Boots I hope your friends are all ok mate.

Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel — identified by French media as the 31-year-old Tunisian-born Frenchman shot dead by cops after the Thursday night massacre — was known to police for his lengthy criminal record. The delivery man was previously convicted for armed robbery, domestic violence and making threats, and he was once arrested after he fell asleep while driving for work, according to France’s BFM-TV. But despite his domestic rap sheet, he was not on any terror watch list, sources told the TV station. The dad of three had no known ties to any terrorist group, and no radical organization has claimed responsibility for his deadly Bastille Day siege. please log in to view this image French investigating police carry evidence bags after they conducted a search the day after a truck drove into a crowd of people who were celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France. (JEAN-PIERRE AMET/REUTERS) Witnesses said the truck driver screamed, “Allahu Akbar” — “God is great” in Arabic — before opening fire on the crowd Thursday night and then driving through the throngs of people. However, Bouhlel’s neighbors said the dad did not appear to be interested in religion, and was more into dating than prayer after his bitter divorce. “He kept himself to himself but would always rant about his wife,” one neighbor told BFM-TV. “He had marital problems and would tell people in the local cafe. He scared my children.” please log in to view this image Police have identified the man behind the wheel of the truck that plowed into a crowd of revelers Thursday night in Nice. "He seemed very weird,” she said. “He said very little to anyone and wasn’t very polite. He wouldn’t hold the door open for you.” Truck slams into Bastille Day celebration, killing at least 84 Police have not confirmed Bouhlel was the man behind the wheel Thursday night, but officials said they found identification papers of a 31-year-old Frenchman in the truck. please log in to view this image Officers look for evidences at the apartment where suspect reportedly lived. Another 50 people were critically injured in the chaos. Thursday’s assault came just hours after France announced that a state of emergency declared after terror attacks on Paris in November would come to an end later this month. Thanks mate, there's only one I can't reach and she's not a night owl, so I doubt she's have been there, although she's French and patriotic. I contacted one couple, expats who were there with their 3 kids, who said they were OK but just couldn't talk about it. The lad just sounded empty, he'd tried to wave the lorry down but backed off when he thought about leaving his kids without a dad. He says he feels like he was a coward and there was no talking to him. Thanks for the messages, on here, and the pm's ......... it's very much appreciated and I've passed on your sentiments to people there.
The muzzos are a pack of inbred ****s. Never met a muslim yet that I've liked. Scum of the ****ing earth.
Maybe you are the problem, you attract the kind not be liked, since you come across as a bit of a bellend yourself.
No need Billy. You'd like my missus. You just havent met enough of them. They're just like you and me. Trying to get through life quietly. They're not all arseholes. Just like every catholic in NI are not in the IRA. Just my opinion though.
I've met some cracking people who are Muslims, they're just people, who do some different things to me every day. There's Muslim arseholes as well, we are alive right now in this period where the spotlight is firmly on those ones. There's a lot of good ones Billy mate, come down here I'll show you loads, you'd be well fed too, they don't let you leave without feeding you every thing they have in their fridge
You could just as easily say that the British 'Christians' have toured the globe slaughtering everyone they came across over the last few hundred years. Surely you can't condemn an entire religion on a handful of people you've met.
There's a huge council house ghetto just to the NE of Nice with a very high percentage of North African immigrants. If you 'drive along' the Boulevard de l'Ariane on Google Earth you'll see a huge dumping ground set on what was a large industrial estate. It's at the back of the main motorway and behind the hills which block out the view of the Mediterranean ..... it's like an open prison. I doubt many visitors/expats realise it exists and you'd never drive through it accidentally, it's on the road to nowhere. I went once and was shocked tbh, it's like an experiment to see how far you can push people before they break.
We drove past a refugee camp in Malta a few years ago that we had no idea was there. It was awful to see people standing behind barbed wire topped fences.
L'Ariane is just a housing estate but it's notorious and no outsiders go there. I'm not normally shy but I was scared when I went. I'd gone to answer an ad for a car that looked a bargain. I just kept driving. The 'seller' had asked me to bring cash ....... I quickly realised that it was just a mugging with a twist. When people have nothing to lose, not even their dignity, they'll resort to anything.
No suprise here. The Islamic State militant group has said it was behind the massacre in Nice in which at least 84 people were killed including 10 children.
And a pisshead believes it Mate if I had a **** and it killed you, they would claim credit for that too.
It's the 'in front of you' that will never happen because Billy big bollocks(online persona) is also known as Billy with the small Willy(real life persona).
Sky news are running the story, so write a strongly worded e-mail to them, instead of just denying it. Plus for your info. I have been out once this week.
