I agree with what you say to a degree, however they are really walking a fine line here, I feel at the moment is the best time to sell the club as expectation is high. The longer you leave it the chances are, if we get off to a poor start, and by the end of September are languishing at the bottom, then surely buyers are going to have second thoughts.

Just a thought but maybe agreed to buy the club but will do the due diligence after transfers have been concluded but also funded them with conditions ? A huge hope there!!! But 1000% wishful thinking....

It's truly amazing that after all that has happened, there are still some cockwombles out there on the Allam side of the fence.

There are soooooo few though - and getting less as time goes on. Just like the rest of us, they'll get their bite of the Allam **** sandwich.

So hang on, the Consortium is offering a sizeable up front payment, and a staggered payment that ends up exceeding the Allams' asking price, and that isn't good enough? Urgh.

Regardless, trying to look at it as glass half full:

    - We'll now start actually focussing on transfers
    - The fact the Allams are happy to resume talks after the window, and are just worried that Due Diligence would disrupt transfers, suggests they're right on the cusp of accepting an offer.

First game after promotion, the curtain raiser to the season, against the champions and the ground will be 2 thirds full...

We cannot- cannot let the rest of the country think this is because we're tinpot. Every other club staging protests gets their messages to the mass media, there was no confusion about Liverpool supporters leaving earlier being about the team having not performed for example. They need to know why we aren't there.

If anyone behind the campaign(s) needs help with a media strategy just PM me.

It's the showpiece opener for sky, perfect for a protest to grab attention. They'll no doubt want to do a piece about hull city returning to the top tier and everything being rosey in their sanitised garden. If there is no sale they need to know it isn't. How about a large boisterous protest outside making it impossible to ignore when they try to film Leicester's arrival at the stadium or even earlier when the pundits arrive.

Well this is all we ****ing need... Im glad the deal isnt totally off but in a way I wish it was, at least then we know where everything stands and we can move on. Now its going to drag on well into the new season. Which means if they do eventually buy the club, its too late to give Bruce any money for new players... so we'll be lucky if we get Robson-Kanu, Sane & Marshall with our poxy £18m ****ing brilliant...

I do like the sounds of this american guy though... he must really want to rid our club of this tyrant, he's put up with a lot of his bullshit over the last few months and is STILL interested in buying.

So Positives? We can now get some transfers sorted, hopefully talks will go on quietly in the background and come September when the window shuts, they'll be an announcement that the club has been sold.

It is getting stupid. I think another red card protest is called for and lots of Allams out banners at the games against Leicester and Man U. Make sure the fans feelings are heard. How about a mass chant of " We say GO Allam, we say GO" at regular intervals through the match.

Assem Allam wants all the money up front. September gives the Americans time to raise the cash. It also puts the Americans in a stronger bargaining position as they'll know what our team looks like and what position we are in the league. They will also have some idea of the income City have generated from membership, ticket sales and merchandise.

PLT, are the Trust organising a protest against Leicester City.

How about wearing black to mourn the death of our club (the away shirt is fine). Perhaps the Tigers Trust could sell a black t-shirt with Hull City just written on it. Charity as well as protest.

No booing of the stand announcements - again just silence.

Maybe a black card protest. Removing Amber (Egyptian sands) from our club.

How does anyone know the transfer budget is only £18 mill - the Club are hardly going to announce we have £50 mill to spend are they, the price of any potential signings will double over night - unfortunately the Allams only know one negotiating tactic, threat, if you don't do this we'll do this - eg, if you don't give us the KC, we'll move to Melton, if you don't agree to the name change we'll leave within 24 hours, the tactic only works if you're prepared to carry out your threat - the Allams have proved that they don't carry out their threats, they're bullshiters, which makes them terrible negotiators - I've no doubt they used threat tactics with the Americans and have come out second best - - - with possibly three long term injuries and replacements needed quickly, the fog caused by the Brexit vote, the low season ticket sales, the value of the club has already gone down and Allams will have seen the price achievable falling day by day as they mess about trying to get even more for the club - their greed will have seen this deal scuppered

We dont know the budget is exactly £18m... but a day or two after those rumours circulated Bruce did an interview and pretty much confirmed that he's got a very low budget to work with.
