If Germany refused him under EU and UN law then can't see why we can't....and we're still under same obligations as Germany since button hasn't actually been pressed.
TBF..apparently it's only NBC reporting Germany refused him. And now mosques calling with some success people out to resist the coup. So civil war between a military known to resist clerical influence on Turkish society vs a regime although "voted" in democratically (severe caveats on that one) and who are seen as reintroducing Islamic law aggressively... This could go very badly for NATO and the West....
