I kept moving up towards the back so the top of the stand blocked the sun out.

Yes he did, if it did dislocate then it went back in on the pitch, so unlikely to be as bad as Snodders, but could be out for a few weeks if ligaments were damaged.

Again, Snodgrass was the same. He mentioned in an interview that his popped out and straight back in again, but the damage was done in the act of it coming out.

Well I guess it is wait and see then, let's hope it is no where nears as bad as Snodders, as he will be a big miss.

All depends on whether he caused ligament damage whilst it popped in/out..

I know a couple of lads that have dislocated their knee caps, one of them had it popped back in, wore a brace for a month and was fine. The other popped his out and supposedly put it in place himself and trapped the ligaments and other good stuff underneath whilst putting it back in.

Obviously you'd hope our medical staff wouldn't do that but still, hope it's just a sore knee for a few weeks and okay from then on

Some AFL players down here have had dislocated knee caps, whacked them back in, and kept playing, so it does depend on the extent of the damage done.

Awful fixture. No money in it and playing a club with a chip of their shoulders in their Cup Final. ditto, Scunthorpe to come. Nothing to gain what so ever. Always amazes me we rest out best players in the FA Cup so they don't get injured but risk them in pre season friendlies on rock hard pitches against teams of journeymen who will dine out on 'I played against Hull City when they were a Premier League side and they were ****....'for the rest of their lives.
    Totally pointless fixture.
May as well played the stiffs behind closed doors.

A chip ...and plenty of fish.

We're so far above Grimsby it's cruel to play them.

    How far we've come.
I was having a natter with a bloke at work, who is a Grimsby fan and went to the game. He thought it was great. Was raving about our players. Thought Livermore was a beast. Robbo superb. Drooling over Dawson. "you can see you're Pl Chazz"

Puts a different slant on it for me.

My gardening guru from next door said something similar - he reckoned it was good for Gy that we hadn't played three or four friendlies before we played them.
