People on facebook are saying that they are hearing the deal has fallen through and there will be no sale. Its facebook so its probably nonsense.
I was there at the City hall meet you reference, I was a fully paid up member of Tigers 2000, and I know no owner has ever been worse than the Allams. Whatever you say about Fish, Hinchcliffe, Buchanan or Lloyd, none of them had the aim of confining Hull City to the history books. FACT.
If it's true, that's me and thousands more finished. So yes, we can all move on. After 40+ years that will be moving on to other things that have nothing whatsoever to do with Hull Fcking Tigers City 1 904. I hope to hell it's facebook b'll'ocks
I believe they have tried to insist on some absurd clauses in any deal to sell, but the Americans aren't taking their crap. If they do manage to sort a deal out I think they'll be brilliant.
I got told Ehab to kept on as Marketing Director, National Squash tournament to be played at the KCOM each season and a move to Melton within 5 years.
how do you believe this is true ? ... source ? .. or just your hatred boiling over and making **** up .. lets be honest even 24 months ago you were neutral .. and now look at you , you almost radicalised over it , take a step back and let things be .. and no I'm not defending them , I'm saying if you have a source then fair enough but calm the **** down , takeovers take months due to FA regulations
Yes I do have a source and if the takeover goes through you'll see who it is. Takeovers may take months, but this one has been worked on for many months already and despite being provisionally agreed at least twice it still seems up in the air. Like it or not that's because those nice Allams are playing up again. You of all people talking about making **** up
It's patently clear, for all those half wits who keep challenging and picking, that a deal was close this week. Why? If it was dead we would know by now. If it was done we'd know by now. Offers closed this week so there's nothing major we are waiting for. So all that's left is they are still talking, and lots of sources quoting saying something was close and now not. So it would appear the nasty details are holding things up. Whether they will prove to be prohibitive... Not even those dealing know. And that's widely reported. So it's close. A little more patience. And it is more than apparent that some people have an inside line but for the usual reasons they can't jeopardise it by giving the details away. It's clearly on a knife edge, and that's how major deals work. Big money means big decisions and big lawyers talking for big amounts of time. My patience has been sorely tested, with numerous false dawns, but it's obvious the family are on this and the issue is the price. Got to be tomorrow. Which tomorrow, who knows.
Talk of worse news to follow by those "in the know" on twitter. My guess would be Bruce leaving after the #askehab fiasco! From hope this morning to despair tonight!!
There's pulling out, and there's negotiations. brinksmanship, or bust? The key question is whether anyone will back down. Or, it's over. And if it's over, was it a cost issue or just the owners not wanting to sell? The only thing keeping me positive is the cost of lawyers means the owners are hardly likely to be protracting this for fun. If hey don't want to sell they can just walk away. So it would appear to be about how much the buyers will give and take!
