Well that makes sense, the one position we didn't need to strengthen is goalkeeper, so what position are we signing goalkeeper.
Swans that's been on for a while, Never heard of him, goal scoring record is nothing to right home about. After our last experience of signing a striker from a French club doesn't exactly excite me, but at least it would be a striker. Difficult to say whether this would be any good as none of us have probably ever heard of him or seen him play.
Bringing in unknown strikers when we were in the lower leagues worked very well for us but in the top league its to much of a risk and you have to go for a proven striker that can play at this level.....Jenkins cant get out of the lower league mode and thinks that he can get the same results in the premiership but he cant.....He needs to set his sights much higher today as nothing else will do....
So did you know Bony before he signed for us? Did you hear of Gomis before he signed for us? In fact did hear of any player we have signed from out of the UK before they signed? You keep blaming Jenkins for this, you keep saying he is in 'lower league mode' , I would say you are in 'fickle fan mode' because you are the same every single season at this time, you keep blaming Jenkins for this, is it because he fired you once upon a time?
As it happens I had heard of Gomis and then didn't want him, as for Bony no I hadn't heard of him, but the difference was his goalscoring record was very very impressive, we seem happy to go for strikers who goalscoring record is that of a midfield player. Its not that he is unknown, but as he is you can only look at the facts that we have and they are not looking that good, but who knows.
I had heard of bony before he came here. He had trials with Liverpool and was being looked at by a number of clubs. It does not matter what you say trying to score points jager i believe that if we don't find a proven goal scorer at premiership level. nothing else will do...we have tried the unknown way and its cost us millions as Gomis has not paid his return for what we have paid him and now we are losing on him. Ayew is no striker and wont score the goals a proper proven striker would in this league....
It's you trying to point score here, you keep on whining on and on about proven goal scorer at premier league levels, but the fact is Gomis was one such player 2013/14 - 17 goals 2012/13 - 18 goals 2011/12 - 19 goals 2010/11 - 12 goals So you would presume he would come here an emulate that, but sometimes things don't work, and when you take your head out of your arse you'll realise that! You can believe all you like Dai, it doesn't make you right, players come and for all their pomp they fail, sometimes it works like with siggy.
Signing new goalie as competition for Fabianski! Exactly the same was said about Nordvelt when he signed. Does this mean he's going and if so why take him on the USA tour. We are getting more and more like comic cuts every day.
Doesn't say much for Guidolin if we are only 4 weeks away from the new season and we have no bloody strikers
As I said earlier, it is the only position we dint need to sign and as you say what is the position with Nordsvelt and why take him to the usa if he is leaving and if he isn't what is the point of this keeper, we have 3 keepers who could all play in the first team if required and that is without Josh Vickers who we signed from Arsenal. We seem this year to be a bit of a joke in the Transfer Market. Lets hope it improves very soon otherwise it will be a very long season.
Our transfer policy is ****!! Huw needs to pull his finger out, not confident at all for next season based on our current squad.
Well it's a good job that we will bring in new faces, and what is wrong with our squad? They got us 47 points last season!
