He has a good clip on his site talking about the brilliant engineering on the Brough Superior .... it's a good site fronted by a proper petrolhead.
I've ridden stuff (scooters and bikes) for best part of 50 years now, for a mixture of pleasure and commuting (I've always worked at least 50 miles from home for some reason...). Now, the commuting's over so I just do a bit of pleasure stuff but I've realised that I've come to like the 'spannering' as much as I like the riding, hence the BMW project bike I posted earlier. I started that about 8 years ago, had it going 4 or 5 times but each time I find something else that needs 'a bit more attention'. I'm beginning to dread finishing it. Current thinking is I'll put a sidecar on it, just for the fun of it, one of these if I can find the dosh. Anyone got any leading links going spare...
Incredible machine. Jay Leno should take over presenting Top Gear! He's a really knowledgable chap. Love the girder forks on that Indian bike.
One of the lads I regularly ride with has one of these - it's in red though .......... it's a Ducati, it's gotta be in red hasn't it?
I sure can and to a lot more as well. A couple of other guys and I dj occasionally Two of us play Northern Soul (for want of a better term) and the other guy plays reggae. Now back to motorcycles.
