So we are a few weeks from the start of the season. No new players while our main rivals have been very active. Many are waiting on their decision to decide whether to commit to a 'membership'. An owner should be reassuring their support that all will be well for the season. When they inform us that there is a deadline, the very least they could come out with is that there is some interest and they have to consider there next move.
I'd like to be told that a sale is on the cards. With a likely completion date. It might encourage a few more to attend matches. As it stands a lot are staying away due them. Interesting that you have changed your viewpoint. They have caused so many divisions within it really is a toxic situation they have created.
Accepting a bid from an interested party is just the start of the selling process. Due diligence could take weeks. We might not see a new owner, if at all, until mid-August
I've not kept my viewpoint change secret. But yes, if someone like me wants them to sell and go, it's bad I agree. I still won't wish them any ill, nor have I changed my mind on what they've done or tried to do, apart from the concessions which was the watershed moment for me. I like the idea of the scheme, i just think it was badly implemented, and the lack of concessions really pissed me off. No idea why, I don't benefit from them.
Despite their numerous Ill-judged decisions with the running of the club, I still thought the Allam's must have some business nous to get where they are. However, whilst I understand that they are trying to squeeze every last drop out of this deal - they are now at a point where they could lose it all and seem almost unaware that this is about to happen. Should the sale of the club fall through - they will face a season of even more ferocious rebellion from the clubs support and an even more toxic (if possible) atmosphere around the club. Like it or not we also have a good chance of going back down - with the Allam's here even more so. What then on their investment? They have bluffed, double and even treble bluffed with their hand. They are still refusing to show. The other players and spectators are at a point where they don't even want to watch anymore!
I think they're completely underestimating the ****-storm that's heading their way if they don't sell now.
It sounds like the Allams have no idea what they want. They'll soon have to announce if they've backed down on concessions for Leicester City fans or whether they intend to take the Premier League on. Or they may just bury their heads in the sand and hope it will be alright tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after.
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport #hcafc Hull City look closer to being taken over by USA consortium. The BBC understands contacts being drawn up by the relevant parties. I'm afraid I don't think this is entirely accurate.
Lambo, you're now appearing to suggest you have closer sources to the Allams and better info than the BBC. Admittedly its the RH branch of the BBC but all the same, put up or shush!
