Lived in Strensall for six months before Wiggy/Haxby for five years.

 

West End - SR4 born and bred - Low Ford, then Millfield now round by The Barnes Hotel. It's great - 10 minutes drive in any direction and you're either countryside or seaside.

 

Have you conquered the Mysterons yet?

 

The fight continues; I keep hearing their voices when there's nobody else about

 

SR4 8ND - left over 30 yrs ago - think the SR starts a memory thread - rock solid & unique folk

 

As a youngster I recall a lot of turf warfare & spats around SR4 -
Football down sea burn on weekends often sorted things out ..

 

Bit like that in Washington - easy access to green areas , river & trees aplenty mind only negative for me poor bus service to north Sunderland - no probs getting to dark side by bus/metro .
Washington is supposed to be in Sunderland - better stop now am getting to a Wexit state of mind - lol

SR8, that's for the best little pit village on the north east coast. Unfortunately that was when I was a bairn and now it's full of toss pots. Gone down hill rapidly over the past 10 yr.
