As I said, the silence is deafening. If nobody was looking even remotely like concluding a deal then Allam Corp wouldve issued a statement following their self-imposed deadline.
Yeah I get the sense if there was no bid accepted, the Allams would have come out with some grandiose statement about the fact that they felt the club was safest in their hands and that they had every confidence that they could take it forward, or something like that. Silence suggests activity.
I hope this is correct. I'm poised, waiting for them 2 to **** off so I can renew my pass before the Mrs starts eyeing the money up for home improvements or something!
Oh Doug I am so with you. Two lots of season pass money sitting here just asking to be spent. I thought the boycott idea was the correct thing to do but worry I will miss out after 15 years with a pass to Premier League only followers.
Actually prefer our current badge and if it wasn't for the name change backdrop I wouldn't even question it. The Hull City A.F.C. badge of a few years back looks very dated.
Tiger head is fine, as is pretty much like the old one, but rearranging 1 904 is desperately needed to look even remotely professional and a name would be nice
Is there anyone still in support of our current owners? There were quite a few about 18 months ago, be interested to know if any of the pro Allam brigade were still pro Allam? For me they can't **** off soon enough. They have brought embarrassment onto the club I love and the have actually made it very difficult to want to continue supporting the club. Being a supporter has become more of an ordeal than enjoyment, and as it stands this season if they stay, this season could be an unmitigated disaster. The distraction noise and unrest they cause is appalling. Go now, please.
What we could really do with, is in the worst case scenario of they dont sell, that one or all of the interested parties come out all guns blazing and tell all and sundry exactly what transpired. This could result in any last element of support and goodwill they receive from those willing to believe the best in them finally see the light.
I still admire and respect them, and I'm still grateful for all they've done for us. I do however, wish they'd hurry up and sell. I still don't hold any sway with the view that we need to be kept informed at all stages of any developments, we'll find out when they're ready to tell us something.
Well yeah i agree with that, I dont think they should tell us anything until it's done. The point is OLM seems to suggest he has info that they're continuing to dick around and drag this out and any interested party is not going to wait forever.
Yeah I agree with that, Lambo's right, it's taking too long, and although the natural suspicion is its the Allams dicking around, we really don't know, and, imo, we don't need to know yet. We'll know in the fullness of time. We just need to stay positive and hope for the best.
