Regardless, Mark Carney has confirmed that the BOE's predictions and warnings prior to the referendum have come to fruition.

Losing passporting will have a two way effect. UK businesses will use their branches in the EU. EU businesses will use their branches in the UK. UK businesses will be able to do business with the rest of the world. EU trade and UK trade should be looked at in absolute numbers not percentages. Why should extra taxes go on supporting the poor and propping up the economy. Theresa May and Philip Hammond will ensure the UK is a low tax low benefit economy. Gone are the days of people spending their lives not bothering to work.

Free movement will not be accepted, so it will be tariffs.

You said it came from him but that doesn't make it right. Of course you have to NEGOTIATE not RENEGOTIATE the deals separately. Did you think we would get them all in a room together and do them all at once? You don't have to conclude negotiations for Deal 1 before you start on Deal 2. You can do a lot at the same time.
The EU is notorious for doing deals slowly because all 28 countries want to have their say. Deal started with India in 2009 and they still haven't finished. Discussions with USA started in 1990 and 26 years later they have still not been concluded.
Accessing the single market doesn't come with tariffs.

    No! You've made a point!...

It's very rare in life that that unique combination of "qualities" comes together to make the complete arsehole.

But, in your case, you've done it!...

    Congratulations!

Name a European country that has a free trade agreement with the EU and doesn't either have free movement or pay a fee for the privilege

There's no guarantee that the EU will allow UK managers to manage funds domiciled within the EU without either adding onerous rules or insisting that they're managed by people domiciled in the same country as the funds.

The reason trade is being spoken about in percentages is to show the impact of exactly how much of our export trade is done with the EU bloc. The simple fact is that we need them more than they need us as we're far more reliant on their market as a total of our trade than the collective EU is on the UK. No amount of your desire to brush that unpalletable fact under the rug will change the simple reality of it.

The rest of that post is bereft of any form of economic understanding

We'd be outside the EU, like at least 35 other Countries that trade in the single market without freedom of movement.

They were right, you are deluded if you think losing banking trade for 500 million people is compensated by the banking trade for 65 million. The daftest thing about this proposal is that European banks already have bases in London for UK trade so the idea they would need to move more staff is an invention.

Perhaps you should have just discussed the topic, rather than trying to compete. I'm not remotely interested in competing, it just makes things dull and reduces it to snide personal comments.

    Let it go. Move on.

The EU sound like a right bunch of fascists, trying to dictate and control other nations.

Nope. Switzerland has free movement. They had a referendum in 2014 on limiting the number of EU immigrants which is due to come into effect in 2017, but the EU have told them that if implement it then they'll be in breach of their bilateral agreements and they'll suspend them.
