Gents, it was not my intention to cause any conflict, was merely a tongue in cheek comment!!

I've just been told, by the finance director at a PL club that were relegated last season, that the FA will be appointing Allardyce.

The plan is to give him a year and keep him on if he does well, whatever that means.

If he doesn't he'll be sacked and the job given to Wenger, who is the choice now, but can't leave Arsenal mid-contract.

He reckons it has nothing to do with loyalty ........ Wenger wants out now but has a very complicated contract that he can't get out of easily.

I sometimes get info from this fella but never post it as it sometimes comes off and sometimes doesn't, I don't want to end up looking daft.

But this has really done me and I wanted to get it off my chest.

It means that the FA are prepared to take our manager and dump him after a year if Wenger says he wants the job.

It's pretty shabby but outrageous if Wenger is aware of what's going on.

It basically means the FA are making Allardyce an interim manager behind his back ...... if it's right it bloody stinks.

If he does a good job, I can't see him being sacked. It just doesn't seem very 'FA' to sack somebody who has done a good job... if anything it's the other way round, they keep the ones who do **** jobs for far too long.

I should really read things thoroughly then.

I don't see a problem with it then.

Slovakia (any improvement on 0-0 will do)
    Malta
    Slovenia
    Scotland
    Lithuania

If he does poorly out of them games, then he should be embarrassed of himself!

One interesting thing, he's always been a 'meaningless friendly' type manager, when it comes to releasing his players mid-season, which is fair enough, but I wonder if being on the other side of the fence will alter his tune.

Cant imagine Wenger ever managing England, just cant picture it, or is it just me? Saying that, he's been at Arsenal for so long its difficult to imagine him managing anybody else at all.

Nah didn't spot that <laugh> The whole Celtic thing hasn't interested me. They're League 1 standard anyway. Scottish football is diabolical. <laugh>
