Hey, On the BBC 606 Stoke board, I've said I've joined not606.com - and I asked; "Who's with me?" and I am sure all our regulars will agree, that's about another 30 odd members soon! You'll obviously see not606.com peak about a day before the BBC 606 messageboards completely close.
Good news. The links I am putting there must be working then. But I'm trying places other then 606 now as well to make it bigger then 606 ever was. I'm glad to say I am now a Senior Member
I think it will slowly grow as 606 dies a slow painful death and people move to the new forums that are being set up, from what i have read over there and in other forums this site is becoming very popular and only has a couple of serious contenders.
I'd say a few contraversial threads on here would help. Lets say for example i say something bad about Arsenal, and a thread on 606 on the arsenal board gives a link to said thread. "Look what this idiot is saying". The amount of forum's i've joined over the years JUST to reply to someone's stupid comment.
Laptop Brain, You seem to know your stuff, as it would seem. Have a quick question? A few of us over the Stoke Board wondered how we'd go about assigning Stoke Moderators? I know its only early, but I know some seriously good contenders for Stoke moderators. Maybe you should have one (or more depending on how busy the board is) user 'allocated' to one board.. Just a thought..
If you boys can organise between you who's going to be the moderator go ahead and let me know. Just to get consensus on the forum though.
Maltese Mick, Cheers, only a few of us on there at the moment, but it can can guarantee there will be more soon.. it's saturday night, Stoke haven't played, so it may be quiet - for an hour! How many mods would we be 'allowed' ?
I'm think you'll start with one or two mods until it get's busier. Try to pick people who are respected by other Stoke fans.
I hoping the Newcastle or Sunderland forum would get even busier so I ask the other members if they want me to do the role?
