That's handy. Will it sound each time your username appears to save people opening your posts?

It's just foreign investors profit taking off the back of the rise in the pound. It will settle back as the GBP eases back towards $1:30.

WTF are you on about now.?? Do you have any idea what you're talking about?!

It was always 50-50 whether the BOE would cut this soon. They've already indicated that they will most probably cut next month, when they have more data.

Funny isn't it. According to some, all the ills of the world are a direct result of the referendum. Nothing to do with other global factors that are either happening or due. People point at the charts to prove it.

The BoE makes an announcement, and the market reacts because it had guessed the other way, but that's different, of course, as it will be when other Euro elelctions, US issues, Japanese issues etc etc affect the market.

It all just points to the people involved not being fit for purpose.

Oh dear. You're still sore about earlier, I can tell. <laugh>

Let it go, it's hardly the first time you've made a fool of yourself, and it's nailed on not to be the last.

Given your record of being wrong, I'm quite happy with that as your opinion. <ok>

The traders had estimated there was an 80% chance of a rate cut today, and when it didn't come they therefore reacted accordingly.

Aye mate, we've got no chance of keeping pace with some public sector dullard, who reckons freedom of movement is racist and that the entire stock broking industry roll call aren't fit for purpose <laugh>
