Sounds good. I wonder if anyone dies?

I do watch 'The Island'. I'm guessing you all know what reality show I mean. This years was poor in comparison, but it's dodgy as ****. Most years someone falls off a rock cliff at minimum. Surely only a matter of time before a bad accident happens.

Those old enough to remember the TV series IT based on Stephen King's novel may be interested to know they are making a new film of the book. Here is a picture of the clown, Pennywise, from the new version. I think Tim Curry played the original

That was a pretty scary story. Tim Curry it was and the hero was the **** from Little House on the Prairie, Richard Thomas. That'll be worth a watch <ok>

We have the DVD it seems long and drawn out with some of the acting a bit cheesy. It still has very sinister moments though. Hope they make it as a sinister, scary film rather than a blood and guts slasher movie.

Book like all of Kings started great..read it quite young and was quite unnerved but like all kings books it meandered too much and had a silly ending.

He really should hire someone else to do his last chapters...

I agree, I read a few of his books as a kid and didn't love any of them.

Think the only ones I liked were Eye of The Dragon and Needful Things...and the latter was ruined after superb tension build up with the silliest ending in the history of books lol...the film versions ending was much better.

Huge book lol..it was the walking dead 30 years before the walking dead lol.

The Dark Tower series were supposed to be good but I'd given up reading him by then...they're making a tv or film of that aren't they?

Pet Cemetary and Salems Lot were the 2 others I remember reading and they are both ok but nothing special. I'm sure I started The Stand and just stopped as I was bored, made it through to the end of IT but just hated the ending.

Just looking through his books, I've also read the Tommyknockers which was also okish.
