Forest Green v City - 13th July

    And before you can even take a breather from the footie, City begin their pre season build up on Wednesday with an away match at Forest Green Rovers. This is a lovely little ground out in the wilds of Gloucestershire not far off the M5. The locals are very welcoming and usually City take a reasonable following especially if the weather is nice. Everything about the stadium is green and eco friendly, even the burgers are vegetarian, but still good. Of course we wont see our Icelandic hero Gunner who will no doubt be taking a well deserved break but it will be good to see the boys in action again.

    WoL says there is unlikely to be a first team player in sight although ALF could play. Won't be going. Doing 5k relay race at Cosmeston Lake. 5k per runner that is.

    I'm in the Old Git Team. Wonder why?

    It's because of Brexit. The exchange rate has dropped so much we'll have to pay them to take him..............<laugh>
