Was thinking the same. Seems fairly obvious that Boris is likely to make a gaffe - possibly a major one - at some point. Assuming that he he does do that, it gives May the perfect chance to kick him into the long grass and send him back to the back benches without the uproar and disharmony that doing it yesterday might have provoked.
I think May is playing a dangerous game leaving both Osborne and Gove out of the cabinet!!! Two very big beasts that could cause problems.
Beware the aides of May! The people who'll really run the new government. Theresa May puts exceptional trust in her special advisers. Best get to know them http://www.spectator.co.uk/2016/07/mays-man-influence/
Yes I did wonder this. If he makes a mess of it she can legitimately get rid of him. She will have kept the Boris lovers happy therefore helping to unifying the party.
Nicky Morgan was a vacuous character devoid of her own ideas anyway. She was purely a "repeater." One of those that did what she was told.
bbc page this morning; Southampton's Les Reed for Chancellor of the Exchequer - will end up selling Scotland and buying a better country, like Iceland.

Gove, another political career finished because of Brexit. However, it could be argued, by his own doing.
