    An Irishman can go to a Police station and say "Someone called me a pykie Irish **** I want them arrested".
    And they will
    An Englishman says "I was called an English **** ".
    No further action.

    I lived with a Polish guy and called him a Polish **** in East London and a Pakistani policeman called me to Investigate a hate crime .
    I **** you not.

    "Incidents against women that are motivated by an attitude of a man towards a woman and includes behaviour targeted towards a woman by men simply because they are a woman."

    The classification now means people can report incidents which might not be considered to be a crime and the police will investigate.
